do you work at Ohlins or something? how do you get those custom shocks? if I remember correctly you also own a previous generation green stumpy evo expert carbon 29 with the same Ohlins ttx coil rear!! btw, that is rad, it's a beast!! thanks..

Is this rear shock totally custom? I have been contemplating buying one of the after market yokes and this same shock. Any feed back would be hugely appreciated.

It is a standard TTX22M, but custom size to fit the stumpy. I don't think the aftermarket TTX universal is available in the correct length and stroke.

Where do you think the limits of the bike with this (coil) setup is? considering getting one over an enduro right now

Well, I rarely feel that this bike limits be on the descents. Putting a 150/160 fork to slacken it would push the limits further. If you want the ultimate TRAIL bike that can also handle the rough stuff, get a stumpy. If you want a bike primarily for the descents but still want to ride some ups and flats, get an enduro.

Do you find yourself bottoming out on it (as much or more compared to an air shock)? Or are you able to adjust how linear the shock is?

I haven't ridden this bike with an air shock, only with the TTX coil. Bottoming out is never an issue. I rarely touch the settings on the shock as the base settings are pretty much perfect everywhere.
