I ride for the purity of the trail, the simplicity of the clean, clear sky, the braaap of a berm, the roost out of the exit, each double fisted downhill blur, the s&m uphill spin, the inevitable smile that starts on my face and washes away the troubles of the world.

@bturman...that is a good question, don't know. The early season schedule had 4X on the books, but $$$ priorities ixed-nayd the event, from what was posted by Darner in MSC forums, (big tease). Such an amazing location, views and terrain, it would have been great to add 4X to the decision process of making the drive and wkend. I would be interested to see how the attendance #'s compare between say C.B. which had both DH and 4X and Full Tilt w/"only" DH. All of this of course is completely self serving as I love 4X. However, with the #'s of kids in bmx around, 4X really could be a great transition into other venues of MSC race offerings. Those amazing bmx kids charge hard deep into their teens and twenties even, seems like a no brainer captive marketing audience that could grow the number of gravity participants. Trying not to get on a bigger soapbox, I can appreciate the financial side of the R.O.I. of a 4X course construction and race vs. DH build and race. Bottom line, just hope that we don't start to have more gravity venues w/out 4X...it is so much fun!
