At that level, those guys will surely pick the bike that they feel best suits the course or their riding styles. Risking race results isn't worth it for a photo or two, imo.

Haha, here's a fun one! This serves as both a bike pump and an exercise machine. The resistance can be adjusted for "better muscular training."

bbd, be sure to check out the Vital Product Guide, which contains reviews of dozens of enduro bikes. At $3,000 the best bang for your buck may be with a company that sells direct (YT, Canyon, etc), though I'm unsure who ships to Australia.

The VP patent states this method was devised to reduce manufacturing costs. Given the size of each cog, there's no way it'll be as light as X1/XX1 unless it's made of unobtanium.

I'd you haven't already, I'd suggest trying clips on your trail bike first and gaining some familiarity with them in different terrain. When you're in full on DH territory the last thing you want to worry about is your feet.
