So I caved and am staying with my Stumpy instead of getting a new bike. I just ordered a Brand New Pike from CRC and I was wondering if the evo comp from wheel was able to get adapters to change it from 20mm to a 15mm?? Does anyone know this?

Thanks for the heads up! I think I'm just gonna put that money towards a new Devinci Spartan XP which happens to come with a pike on the front! lol

Thanks, I keep hearing how good the pikes are these days anyways. I had one back in the day and loved it actually so I'm sure they are twice as good now. I think I might actually just take that 1000 that I would spend on the pike and just put it towards ... more »

is it really that much overkill you think? I mean the revelation on there right now is 35mm stantions and has 150mm of travel, this would only be 10mm more and 1mm more in stantion width...

But the pikes are at least 1000 bucks for a good one. This fox 36 is 650 on clearance, I would very much like a new fork and price seems very doable to me, 1000 for me is pushing it because at that point its almost more worth it to me to put that in ... more »

I'm curious what you mean about the whole BB drop part? I know that Specialized has super low BB height as one of the defining characteristics but I don't know much about BB drop, could you explain it to me and how it relates to 650B Bikes?

that sucks, about sol vista. It was always hard to pass by Trestle and drive another 40 min to wait in a longer line for a shorter run but now its not even a real option anymore....

You also need to train just about every day if you want to ride with the pros (if you don't already). This doesn't mean simply riding every day but you have to do things OFF the bike too. Things like lifting weights, rowing, yoga, road biking, jumps, ... more »
