    Side note: Always heard carbon rotors don't work too hot. Interesting you put them on a DH bike. ^_^

    I've heard lots of stuff about them too. "They heat up to operating temp quicker and dissipate heat better. They're tougher and stronger, they last longer". Best to think for yourself and try things for yourself ;-) The rear has been fine, and the front has been okay for one days riding. I took 5 seconds off my time at a local DH track. No emergency stops though. and they've knocked about 100grams out of my rotating weight. I'm light though. Verdict still out though. Probably 1 10-20% loss in power and they can glaze, I'm about to try their pads though.

    more important than its weight, is where the weight is. low and central... nice.
