So funny all the supposed secrecy around stuff like this. Of course Trek wants it to be seen. You put one of the fastest, most scrutinized riders in the world on a new bike at a World Cup race. Of course they did this on purpose, of course they want it to be seen and talked about. Not like some secret test session behind closed doors, and you know what, it's working! You just looked at this post, you are curious. BRILLIANT!

Sick riding. You hate to watch the winning run and think to yourself, ok, now let me watch the ACTUAL winning run. No question Semenuk is one of the sickest riders out there, but I can't agree that he won this contest.

After weeks of waiting for our shop copy to make it around to everybody, I finally got my hands on this DVD. Gathered up the wife and kids and gave it a watch. Normally about 10 minutes into a bike video I lose the kids, and shortly after the wife is gone. After about 30 minutes I thought my wife was asleep, until I heard her gasp at how awesome a shot was (sorry, can't remember exactly which shot) and realized that she wasn't asleep, but instead on the edge of her seat totally enthralled. Sure there is a place for 720's, double tailwhips, and monster drops, but being able to really show what it "feels" like to mountain bike, and engage such a wide audience is near impossible. It think they did quite an amazing job with this video, and hope to see more like it in the future.
