To eat in Monterey: Papa Chano's on Alvarado has good mexican food. Pizza My Heart at the Del Monte Center has GREAT pizza. The Chipotle just down from it isn't bad at all. The Myo frozen yogurt joint on Alvarado is really good. In-n-Out Burger in Salinas. ... more »

If it's somewhere I can actually ride, ie safe jumps/drops, I would ride an hour to get to it if the trails getting to it were fun, or the trails coming back were fun.

What if you did downhill runs in a jam format? Something like have enough time for each person that qualified for the final to have a few runs and let the competitors jam it out. If someone gets knocked off the top spot then they might be able to cut ... more »
