I like my 661's just fine and you can usually find'em a bit cheaper than the other options. And I don't think they look quite as goofy as the Shimano's. I did have to take out some extra rubber around the cleats so they would easily get in and out of ... more »

I have a DOT helmet, but my next helmet will be one MTB, the new 661 Evo looks pretty dope. The DOT approved ones are just a bit big and I've heard the DOT test is a blunt force trauma test that doesn't really apply to MTB.

I don´t really understand why it seems logical to jump up to a 29" wheel. 650b seems like a better next step. You get some of the advantages of the bigger wheel without some of the disadvantages of it. Jamis is coming out with a 650b bike in their 2010 ... more »
