To be fair, colour is all down to personal taste. I'm personally not a fan, but I've seen a lot worse. Colours shouldn't dictate component choice however. The wheels are purely on there for aesthetics, they use rubbish spokes and an impractical lacing pattern. It looks more for show than actually riding.

you know that spoke lacing pattern actually works pretty well. its even listed in a master wheel builders guide book.

No it doesn't work particularly well. which is why wheel manufactures don't make wheels like this. It's fine for non performance bikes however as it looks 'pretty'.

Y'all are a bunch of haters. I think it's unique and much different than the played out, all-black everything that EVERYONE does these days. The components are uniformly colored and pretty damn spiffy. Is it semi-emulative of the Lakers colors? Sure. But the purple and gold also remind me of Mardi Gras, Popsicles and taffy. it's rad.

When they were deciding the color scheme to the bike did the term Clown Abortion come up?

Now that is a bike for a tart. Gold snowflake wheels... oh dear. Otherwise the rest is nice.

There is nothing better than an evil build next to some bad graffiti.
