Ever see a T-Rex paddle?
Don't bother me with facts and logic.
Of all the bikes of all the riders, Brook's bike would be the last I would want. I would never want that GT, but that's not the point. Brook smashes stuff so hard, "barely used" to me sounds like "possibly not broken"
That sucks. They are focusing on Enduro more than DH, not that that's a bad thing, but they are just canning the DH team completely. Sure, trail bikes sell more than DH bikes, but it helps a brand to have a good image. Look at Santa Cruz. They pulled ... more »
From this article (http://actu.epfl.ch/news/primates-regain-control-of-paralyzed-limb/) which is a bit deeper than what is posted here: "for these partial lesions, the primate is initially paralyzed and then spontaneously regains full mobility after ... more »
I fully support BTurman's post. I've seen so many riders that are good but trying to get to the next level is near impossible. A majority of them have the inability to step out of their comfort zones, but they do have the ability to do 'correct' riding ... more »
Well, Josh's Instagram is public, he's made no statement that it isn't true, and this is a 'rumors' thread.
That line by Remi is most likely faster. He forces himself to go faster later, and then hold on for dear life. You can see the few people that double off the bridge case the landing just to slow down, it is horrendously steep there, leading into a slight ... more »
The current format for enduro races nearly led me to slit my wrists. The current format is usually this: Drag your ass out to whatever a race promoter wants to say is 'enduro' which means some trail they like riding. Then you practice that along with ... more »
That's one hell of a tough team to make it on. Bernard Kerr didn't even make the team, and he's ahead of three of those riders in the overall, and Val Di Sol has historically been a great track for him.
Seriously? You didn't just send me a message?
$80 has been raised for the pro purse so far. Keep the fines coming.
Yup. Herndon is gone for a month and it goes to shit even more than usual.
That was Ben Furbee in the hole, who is a giant. The hole did go down further, but narrowed. No need to argue semantics though when the real issue is that USA Cycling sent riders on the course before it was even properly checked. That's just kinda sad ... more »
Great advice. Also, I'd tell myself to feed some starving children, read moar books, and most importantly, only date people of an equal or greater social standing to myself.
Brook and Blenki are dead to me. They swapped from flats to clips, and they aren't as fun to watch. Their best results were on flats as well. Bah.
It is mostly the people in my opinion as well, vote with your dollars, and stuff will reflect that. This morning, I looked at Instagram some (just want to see the newest thing), drove to do a workout (giving some $$$ to the oil companies), bought some ... more »
Seems to me that Jeff Brines has positioned himself as the fairy godmother of enduro. All inquiries concerning fairness, spirit, purpose or etiquette should be placed on his desk for review.
That's the first good idea you've had in a long time Jeff. Tucker would be proud.
To Eric Saunders... Isn't the promoter of this the promoter of many other enduro races? The Big Mountain Enduro Series? Isn't this promoter the one that has a cap on entrants? It isn't like they are expecting 200 and got 899 racers. They are capped field ... more »
