Coming off of a 2011 StumpjumperFSR, this bike pedals just as well if not better, and the descending is on par with my Demo8 for smooth control at speed, this bike likes fast.... alot. The Type 2 rear derailleur changes all my preconceptions about how quiet a bike can be through rough and root laden trails. I'm hoping the clutch's ability doesn't wane over time, because I don't know if I can live without it anymore!
