After watching that last vid and seeing the screenshot at the end, this gets me pumped on the Onza HR II

I'm not going to hold my breath on it looking that dry by then...hope Mother Nature proves me wrong!
Oh, yeah...Troy made that look waaaaaay too easy. Dang!!

But can they avoid other drones? This is important. Drone wars are a reality we must prepare for.

I don't think even Troy himself knows the answer to that one!

The moment that defines Fabien, for me at least, is when he won his first DH world championship. He admitted that nobody could beat Peat...only if he made enough mistakes would he lose. Humble even in victory.
This will be a victory lap for the ages. Enjoy, you've earned it!

My nose is bleeding.
This guy likes having his tires off the ground a whole lot more than I do...and I like my tires off the ground. Daaaayum!!!

I've ridden (read: dragged a ton of brakes with a seriously puckered sphincter) Tres Hombres, which is nearby. It's got some seriously steep and consequential sections in between some fast and flowy sections. I have nothing but respect for people that can rally that trail.
This trail looks a LOT more manageable to an intermediate like myself. Still looks steep as hell in spots, but not as sink-or-swim as Tres.
That beard at :40 looks.......familiar. Brian Tucker sighting?

It just goes to show that the one thing that nobody can debate is that Remy Metailler put down the faster time.

1st and 2nd seem right. From there, it's a bit blurry. Semenuk or Zink should have been 3rd and Aggy 4th or 5th.
If Andreu doesn't sideways case that hip, he's repeat champion.
Semenuk nailed it, IMHO.
I would never want to judge any comp...let alone Rampage. The problem is the judges - as skilled, etc. as they may be at riding - wouldn't ride half of what these guys are riding, therefore they can't truly fathom the sheer tech-factor some of the riders are attempting.
The top-3 weren't all Red Bull riders...actually it was balanced between Rockstar, Red Bull AND Monster. The only common thread is they're all FEST riders. Was there a bias towards them? I don't know.
One thing can't be denied - Norbs got engaged!!

I really hope Mother Nature lets them play. She's been a little testy the last couple of years.

I think the top-2 non-qualifiers are on standby in case of a down rider. Seems like someone else got to ride after Aggy went down last year.
For reals. Hope he's ok. Sounds like Rogatkin took a huge bail as well, but he's ok. The pic I saw sure didn't look promising.
I can't help but find it ironic that one of THE legends of freeride has to scratch and claw (pun not intended) to build a line. How many of the riders in the field were influenced by him? I'm sure more there were than not.
I totally understand being protective of key features, but everything else should be fair game, IMHO. Of course, I couldn't ride any of this to save the universe - this is for the riders to debate.
