Frickin' amazing footage. Brendog's pass thru Peaty's Plunge was just ridonkulous!

Because prize money alone won't pay the bills.

How he held on is still beyond me. Stiffest landing ever.

If you look at it from it being THE last race of this season and it's also for gold & glory, more risks than usual get taken. It's been such a stacked field this season, it makes the pressure that much more higher on so many riders. It's racing.
Truth be known, by the time the last five guys were about to go, I was hoping each of them would have enough bobbles (not crashes or mechanicals) to where Neko got the gold. The fact he was only 1.5sec from bronze still blows my mind.
FULL AND SPEEDY RECOVERY TO THOSE IN NEED!!

I love the commentary where Rob's like "oh, such a shame for the young American rider, etc." only to have Nigel interrupt Rob with "he's UP...he's actually up at the split!!!". Gold.
My jaw was dropped for at least 5min from the time Ratboy boosted that last feature...still not sure what took place today.
Carpenter - 3:47:389

I'm sure an epic race will help alleviate that feeling...let's hope!

Nipple-driver sounds more romantic.
You're probably right, but there are at least a half-dozen other riders more than capable. Bruni, Blenkinsop, Mac Donald, Simmonds and Mulally to name several.
For the record, I'm predicting Gee will NOT hit the tree this year.

Is there something about that particular beer that had people struggling? Whatever the case, that was both freaking awesome and hilarious!!

Oh, man...this is going to be something. I think I have a better chance of predicting whether or not Gee will re-acquaint himself with that tree than I do who will win.
Props for getting Ratboy's arm thru Gwin's bars!

I think it's safe to say that Peaty has likely had more cuts, scrapes, bruises, etc. than myself and all my riding buddies combined. Unlike us, he can ride/race thru it like it doesn't exist. The People's Champ is also the Legend's Legend!

TOTALLY random, but Specialized must be getting big-time since Prancercise is in the related-videos after it ends.
Bryceland took 2nd...with a small crash. Mental.

I'm kind of surprised Kyle didn't follow him and go for the longest dirt-to-dirt Indian Air!
Cam made that look pretty easy. Props!

Can't wait to see how it settles in after hundreds or riders beat it in during training. It reeks of a Sam Hill win but, with a WC title on the line for a few, it's hard to say who will get the top-box for this race. Quite honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if Peaty pulls it off!
So many tight title races and quite possibly the perfect track to settle it all. It doesn't get any better than this!!

Props on that guy for keeping his cool and being VERY cordial under the circumstances. Mom would have gotten a very stern lecture from me after I made sure Junior was ok, of course.
This is still nothing in comparison to the dog that was walking freely on track at Mont St. Anne during the WC race.
