I can't comment on the CCDB Air CS, but my friends that have run the standard DB Air weren't able to fix the lack of midstrock/ending stoke issue with a volume adjust spacer. Both of these guys are between 200-220lbs fyi. I am 185lbs for reference. I'd personally get the Manitou or the Fox shock on this bike. The Spitfire's U-shaped leverage curve is very difficult to tune a shock for (according to suspension industry folks I have spoken to).

My friends (that are engineering tech nerds) have tried the DB Air on the Rune and have told me that it also plows through the travel on hard hits- so I wasn't planning on trying that. They have said that the Swinger Air works well, however. I am going to eventually get that or a Float X when budget allows.
Considering that most people will ride the Spitfire with the stock Float CTD shock, I thought it was fair to point out its flaws.
Wow, and I thought they would change the suspension design. Hope they have a patent on the proprietary shock crushing technology...

Well that just solidified my desire to move to Jackson. Thanks for the stoke Andrew

That looks like the right BB to me. Keep in mind you will need E13 cranks to go along with the new BB as the E13 cranks use a larger spindle than Shimano's.
I'm all out of date on the BB "standards" these days, so you could always call E13 and ask just to be sure. They actually answer their phone.
Hope that helps.

Seems like a good marketing tactic to me. It's basic human nature to want what you can't have. I have no interest in buying a Rock Shox fork or shock, but now suddenly I have the urge to want to at least try their new shock. I'm sure they'll eventually sell the shock to everyone, and when they do, they will sell.

In my opinion it is the best 150mm travel fork you can get atm. It's a bit heavier than its counterparts, but the added stiffness due to the extra weight and overall feel provided by the open bath RC3 damper is worth it. The fork feels great. It is very plush in the initial stroke and feels great on rougher trails. It could use a bit more mid-stroke support however. That, aside from weight, is really the only downfall of the fork.

Song is 009 Sound System - Dreamscape
It was my second time using the camera so I am still trying to figure out the right angle. Compared to the standard wide angle gopro I guess the hd needs to be pointed up more.
Sick vid. Anyone know what the song is?
