It's like a garden shed version of a izimu or 224

Can we please get one thing straight (not that it really matters, just saying) 650b is not the same thing as 27.5"!
650b = 27.1" get it right

Have you ever used a csixx? If you have you'll know it features woven carbon (less susceptible to abrasion damage) rubber on the guide to prevent chain-slapping-plastic noise and kevlar woven into the "taco" part of the bashguard which helps it slide off rocks rather than hook up and stop you dead. It's a better engineered product, and I don't even have to look at the Ethirteen to know this

Csixx is still better. Will bet all my money on that
I still think this is the best looking kit on the market right now as well. Really want to get my hands on an outfit

Utley06 if the FSR design is outdated crap as you say then why is it when paired up with the brain shock Specialized's Epic became the first ever dual suspension bike to win the XC world cup? I ride a Giant Glory and my father owns a Trance, and while their suspension is ok it's far from being even one of the top 10 suspension designs. To be honest I've never liked my Glory. It pedals ok and that's about it really. I'd rather have a bike that sucks at pedalling but is one of the best at everything else (Specialized) than one that pedals well jumps ok and sucks at everything else (Giant) if you want a bike that does everything well get a Morewood Makulu.

Tommy, are you for real? Giant aren't even close to Specialized. Specialized have made a name for themselves as the brand putting the most R&D into their bikes. You can't tell me Giant are on the same level let alone ahead of them if their top of the range Trance is lacking all things that have become common place with prop trail bikes. Thru axles ISCG tabs etc. Saying Giant are ahead because they are a bigger brand is like saying Toyota are better than Ferrari because they are bigger. It's about the technical know how not the size and money. How little you know son...
Am I the only one who's always thought Sam was faster on his Iron Horse than on the Specialized?

Can someone please explain to me how is it that even in Columbia everyone seems to ride these amazing bikes, but here in South Africa half of us can't even afford an entry level POS

Capricorn, blue stripe signifies Schwalbe's "first ride" developmental rubber program. Only pro's and people with connections have them. Basically think MM but with Maxxis slow reezy compound

So the lightest, most balanced frames with the fastest rolling wheels now just got better suspension, more powerfull brakes and even lighter. Please let all of these equate to a win for Greg. It's been a hell of a long time coming with way too many unlucky 2nd places...
