The Rune will be replacing my Bansee Spitfire frame. So far the only weak point is the added weight of 700 grams compared to the Spitfire but taking into account, that the Rune could be pointed into any direction no matter how rough the trail might seem, this is a sacrifice that I could easily live with.
Pedaling is superb even without any lock out or pro pedal shock thingy, the rear triangle seems to bite itself into the ground when the bike is pointing uphill.

Update after first Enduro race and a week at Lake Garda:
Not being very happy with the tubeless converted Minions and cutting the single ply wall on the front tire I am going back to Schwalbe Hans Dampf front and rear. The soft Minions are great for descending but due to the high rolling resistance arriving somewhat out of breathe at the trailhead is not worth it in my opinion.

Further more a Race Face narrow/wide single ring is in the mail and I hope to get rid of the lower chain guide and reducing chain drag even more. Even with a clutch derailleur the chainslap on the chainstay is definately noticable because of the lower chainguide beeing so close to it with the only 32T chainring.

The Suntour forks felt great at the technical trails at Lake Garda, providing solid and stiff steering. On the fast alpine stages of the last enduro race though the fork ran through its travel due to the rebound not being able to recover the travel. Adding more highspeed compression did not bring to much of an improvement. Adding more air to the air chamber just made the fork spiking out on even the smallest chatter. Definitely needs some more tunig until I am satisfied.

Coming from a Rock Shox Sektor on my last trailbike, the Durolux obviously feels stiffer. Compared to the claimed weight of the new Pike, the Suntour fork seems to be 600g heavier. Performance is great so far though! Feels a bit sluggish in the parking lot as the rebound could be a bit faster. But on the trail the fork feels very active and composed.
