The best Downhill frame I have ever owned.
Rating:
The Good: Light, Nimble, No brake jack, Bottomless feel, Quiet, it just plows like a dirt bike.
The Bad: Trek does not sell The Frame Only
Overall:
This bike rides just like its younger brother carbon version its amazing!!!!!! the combination of the Full Floater (allows the full rear linkage to move without sinking into the travel of the shock, when you come into corner's leaving your full travel for the brakes pumps ahead), with ABP Active Braking Pivot (rear linkage bearings are concentric with the axle of the wheel, it feels like the rear wheel wants to sink into the ground when you brake instead of the annoying brake jack). This bike its a machine that eats holes, rocks and roots for breakfast any day. I have my 2012 Session 8 build at 36 pounds. If your are thinking about it, do it. You will not be disappointed ask Aaron Gwin & Tracey Mosley.

Its is soo stupid 6 races in Europe its should be call the European Cup of Mountain Bike, LAME!!!!!!!!! No US races, every rider in the US should sabotage next years "WORld Cup" in am tired of the french base UCI beeing soOOO LAME!!!!!!!!

great video, Spencer its a really good rider - Black Rock its about 3 miles from the town of Falls City, Oregon. This place its amazing if you have never been I highly recommend. I have been helping some of the builder out there for the past 3 years, this guys have been working on this trails for well over 6 years and they work on the trails3 to 4 times a week. Great winter spot.
Again best "FREE"ride part in the US !!!!!

The Good: The geometry of this bike its perfect for freeride and people who like to jump their bike, it also can handle any dh track you put in front of it. With short chainstays this bikes feels very nimble and playfull. I own the 2009 version with 8.1 travel and its awesome.
The Bad: some brake jack at high DH speeds.
Overall: This is one of those bikes that if its your first really DH/FREERIDE you will improve your riding skills and will make you a better rider without braking the bank.

The Good: Good looking helmet, very strong, removable pads.
The Bad: The fits, the large its to big and the medium doesn't even fit.
Overall: great helmet for the price, but if you have weird size head like me it will not work.

Chaos the best helmet for the price

The Good: The PRICE, it fist really well, I own a giro remedy L and its to loose, the M does not fit. My Chaos its Large and it fist like a glove. The graphics are ok, and the removable pads are a plus.
The Bad: The visor bold insert are don't the best.
Overall: great helmet for the price, if you are thinking about getting this helmet do it !!!!! You will not be disappointed.
