As far as fork sturdiness goes, you're right and that would be one of upgrader on DJ. Now, as far as mega goes, I saw it was won on hardtail-singlespeed. Because (and track dropouts on most of bikes) of that I thought about building 3rd wheel (rear one) ... more »

Hi, I'm searching for a DJ frame. It can be slopestyle frame or freeride frame (hardtail) too. It must accept suspension fork. Can be used/repainted/without decals, but it mustn't be broken or repaired. I don't care about dropouts, steer tube type, BB ... more »

This isn't his fault. He kept distance, speed was all right. She is totally under ''husband pressure'', she doesn't even know basics of trail riding, but it's important she is faster than you, because her kit is brand new.

Added a product review for Shimano XT Disc Brake M785 11/5/2013 6:28 AM
The Good: Great braking power, fantastic look, minimal noise, impossible to overheat, reach adjust can be adjusted without tool.
The Bad: Price of ice tech rotors and vented pads is very high.
When I first time looked at this brake I taught: ''There's no difference between this and SLX brakes.'' And that isn't far from truth. Only difference is in final look and in addition of so called ''Free stroke'' mechanism. Some people think this is completely useless, but I was able to see, just like my friends that it has some difference. Main reason I had this brake? Whole bike had XT group so I thought if whole bike is XT group, I will go for it. Is it worth additional money for difference in 20 grams per brake? It's all up to you. I would personally go for it because one group above SLX can mean difference in quality, performance and lasting after few years of usage. Also, if you go trough a lots of descends and really long ones, buy this. I used 180mm front and 160mm rear Ice tech rotors and pads and even when I tried to overheat them, but I was far from it. Plus, Free stroke actually helps in those situations. If you go for XTR, you won't have all this luxury.

Added a product review for Continental Rubber Queen Tire 11/4/2013 7:23 AM
The Good: Great puncture protection, aggressive thread, long lasting.
The Bad: If you're obsessed with weight is bad for you ( 1kg in steel bead version), thin sidewalls.
These are one of best tires I have ever had. Thread design is very aggressive and is great for climbing lose dirt and loose rocks. In few months I haven't got a puncture. Volume is really big and I was scared will it fit at rear of my hardtail bike. If you aren't racing gravity disciplines this tire is probably too heavy for you, because my 2.2 steel bead weight over a 1kg. Overall great tire for price.

Added a product review for RockShox Dart 2 Fork 11/3/2013 2:04 AM
The Good: If you're getting into sport, especially XC this is good fork. Has a turnkey lockout and really isn't hard to turn while driving or getting into climb.
The Bad: Well, if you care about weight don't go for this fork. Personal: My trails often have a lot of mud on it and rebound adjustment is really problematic without cleaning. After big drops you will have a felling that fork doesn't work on smaller rocks.
I'm giving it 4 stars looking from aspects of beginner XC rider. You won't need anything more for XC hard tails, so if you're not obsessed by the weight go for it. If you break it, you haven't used it right.
