Cool perspective, but remember that since the bikes weren't all in the same front/rear cog combo, comparing chain growth, etc. is pointless.

That's cool stuff, I've been keeping an eye on Lindarets and these dropper adaptors are keen just like the rest of their products. You could make one with an old bar end and a hacksaw but these are done right. Those boost adaptors are a no brainer but ... more »

I want one, with a higher pivot, 142 rear hub spacing, longer chainstay, ODI fork bumper mounts, an idler option and a 20"+ reach. I know someone who has one. I'm pretty sure they ride like a unicorn with buffalo wings.

Same idea but these systems also had a fixed rear cluster, which reminds me of the Honda RN-01 which then reminds me how much better it would be just to have a gearbox instead of this.

I think I misinterpreted that. He was saying combine both series for an overall EWS & DH winner?

Chain stay bridge looks fine. But seat stay bridge is tiny. And the long stays themselves act as levers on the small bridge. Even if you rode it back to back and couldnt notice the difference your still putting more lateral strain on the bearings and increasing wear. Not as effective as welding the rocker...more

Thanks for clearing up the WTB marketing mumbo jumbo, I had to dig to find that info on their website but you are correct! Pardon this ignoramus for not realizing "Enduro" casing is actually a dual-ply DH casing.

I think he meant bringing more WC DH riders into the EWS would make it harder for the current competitors

I couldn't help but chuckle at that statement, especially in reference to a WTB single-ply. DH tires have a dual-ply casing and there is a reason many enduro racers use them on rough courses.

None. They don't make dual-ply tires for DH.
