Was just watching old school Down and Double Down...I think this bike is in the background in a Lance Canfield interview. Gotta love that old school stuff.

OH man I got to see that thing in person last week. SO SICK! I really have the urge to go urban hucking with it.

The BF3 was designed in 1997 and produced in 1999. After successfully hand building these bikes, Lance and Chris founded Canfield Brothers Downhill Bikes.
Lance not only hucked huge on this bike, he also won the first overall race at Bootleg Canyon on it!

When I first saw that on the screen, I thought it was a Lil' Shredder Downhill bike. I used to rock that wheel/tire size combo on my Super 8. Does anyone know how the broken brother is doing?

Chris is fully recovered and riding again! Our entire company wear neck braces when we ride now!

Good to hear about Chris. I never saw your big bikes in person.

No wonder they never stuck any landings back then (or turns...or rockgardens...)...

Bender rode the "Secret Weapon", It was a bike we custom made for him - a steel version of our 10" Fatty Fat.
