He liked it so much he sold it in under a year.

Because he likes pumping transitions, not 'verdoning' them.

I had this bike before EndurHo bought it. I rode it a few times on my local rocky trails and thought it worked great. Maybe it's because I already own a few Orange bikes? maybe it's because I'm a fan of SP bikes and used to how they behave? maybe because I'm a lightweight? yeah it didn't feel as plush as some other linkage bikes out there but it's fast and thought it carried it speed pretty well.

Even if the bike felt way too big for me, I was surprised how nimble it was and how easily I could move it around. Even in tight downhill corners it handled pretty well. If the bike had been a Med I probably would have kept it. I still think my old Orange Five is one of the most fun bikes I've ever owned.

Interesting, I actually just bought this bike. Shortened the chain to the correct length, fixed the slightly tweaked rear der., and added some chainstay wrap. Shifting pretty perfect now! After about 10 rides, running 30%sag and having slowed the rebound a touch, the shock is breaking...more

Yeah those Alpines and Fives are the most beautiful and simple bikes out there IMHO. I know it's not a popular opinion in today's carbon crazy world though!! Can't wait to get them over here, as getting one right now is pretty much impossible short of flying over there and buying one....more

I really enjoy these videos. This video could just as easily be titled "how to make the same old ride less boring" or "how not to be a pussy." I love doing all of those things when I ride the same old trail for the thousandth time. Good tips all. Thanks team Vital + Art.

While Vital's viewership is strongest in the US, a sizable portion of our readers are in other parts of the world. Also, Canyon may come to the US in the future.

I like this @DrewB guy's attitude. especially "My overarching philosophy is 'better safe than sorry' and this stuff adds between 3-5lbs depending on what length of ride, and to be honest, I could lose an extra 3-5 pounds if I really want to be a super ... more »
